Shirley Heights Inside Out

The famous Shirley Heights Sunset & BBQ takes place every Thursday and Sunday. Before reaching this iconic destination there’s one stop at the Blockhouse. Built in 1789 this complex was a guard point for the British Navy. From the Blockhouse, you can see Guadaloupe on a clear day, and the entire west coast of Antigua. At this time, the party is just getting started, and Shirley Heights is where the magic happens. A spectacular view of the sunset, overlooking English and Falmouth Harbour. This moment is better enjoyed sipping a glass of Old-fashioned Rum Punch while listening to Calypso music played by the Steel Pan Band. 

A Caribbean-style BBQ completes this perfect moment, with a live Reggae Band taking you into the evening, rocking the dance floor. Make sure to bring your dancing shoes.
